Fuse Energy

Fuse Energy is a vertically integrated renewable energy company founded in 2022 by former Revolut executives. It combines energy generation, real-time power trading and direct-to-consumer supply within a single operation, cutting out intermediaries and passing the resulting savings to customers. The company states that energy delivered through its consumer products costs 30% less than that of traditional suppliers. It has raised $100m to date, with backing from investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar and Accel, and strategic angels among them Nico Rosberg, the former Formula One champion.

Its technology work spans real-time power trading, renewable generation across solar, wind and hydrogen, distributed energy systems, smart grid balancing, decentralised energy networks, demand response and smart home energy devices. The Energy Network, a decentralised platform of smart devices, rewards users in a proprietary currency, Energy Dollars, for electrifying their homes, shifting consumption to off-peak hours and contributing to grid balancing. The platform is also positioned to strengthen grid stability for AI data centres and other energy-intensive industries.

Consumer energy products deliver supply directly to households, rewarding customers for smart energy usage. The company describes decentralisation and consumer empowerment as central to its approach. Its stated mission is to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy.
