Harris Computer builds and acquires software businesses and holds them for the long term, positioning itself as a permanent home for the companies it buys. Founded in 1976 by Nigel Harris with a computer-operated automated accounting system, it has spent nearly five decades accumulating vertical-market software businesses and has been part of Constellation Software since 1996.

The group supplies mission-critical software to customers across five markets: Public Sector, Healthcare, Utilities, Private Sector and Insurance. It serves thousands of customers worldwide and reports global operations across multiple vertical markets. Rather than reselling acquisitions, it retains and develops each business within the Harris family, a structure aimed at growth potential over the long horizon.
