Phantom is a consumer crypto company founded in January 2021. It builds a self-custodial wallet designed to make Web3 accessible to mainstream users rather than crypto-native ones, across Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin and Polygon. Its flagship product, Phantom Wallet, is a self-custodial crypto wallet spanning four blockchains and serving more than 20m users. The wallet aims to make crypto interactions as intuitive as sending a text message. Alongside it sit in-app token swaps, which let users exchange assets within the wallet, and social payments, a feature for sending digital assets in a simple, social experience.
