Simpro Group

Simpro Group develops field service management software for trade and field service contractors. Founded in 2002, the company originated in a Brisbane electrical shop, where a trade contractor and a software engineering student built tooling to address practical contracting problems. Its Simpro Platform covers job management, workforce management, workflow automation and accounting functions, connecting field operations to office administration. The platform is used by more than 250,000 people worldwide and is being rebuilt as an AI-first operating system for the trades.

Technical work spans field service management software, artificial intelligence, job and workforce management, workflow automation and business management systems. The engineering remit is shaped by a narrow industry focus: electrical contracting, trade contracting and field service businesses. Stated objectives include reducing operational complexity for tradespeople and improving the profitability of trade businesses.

The group has expanded substantially through acquisition. Five businesses have been folded in - Gem Software Solutions, AroFlo, ClockShark, BigChange and Delight - adding field service management, time tracking and workforce management capabilities to the portfolio. Integration of multiple product lines across acquired companies is a defining feature of the company's engineering environment.

Simpro Group maintains offices across four regions: Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and North America. Funding details are not disclosed.
