STARK Defence

STARK Defence is a defence technology company founded in 2024 that develops unmanned systems across air, land and sea domains. Its product line spans loitering munitions, mission control software and unmanned surface vessels. The flagship OWE-V Virtus loitering munition has been deployed in Ukraine against ground and strategic targets. Minerva, its mission control software, and Vanta, its unmanned surface vessel platform, round out a multi-domain autonomous systems portfolio.

The company is headquartered in Berlin, with a second production facility in Swindon, in the United Kingdom, opened to scale manufacturing. Contracts have been secured from the German Bundeswehr and other NATO partners, and its customer base spans Europe and NATO member states. Engineering teams work directly with battlefield operators, and systems are tested in actual combat conditions.

STARK Defence was founded in response to the operational demands exposed by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, with a stated focus on delivering capability now rather than years ahead. This places emphasis on speed of delivery and rapid industrialisation - a working pattern shaped by short development cycles, field feedback loops between developers and operators, and concurrent software and hardware engineering across its three product lines.
