Rightmove plc runs the United Kingdom's largest property portal. Founded in 2000 by four corporate estate agencies - Countrywide, Connells, Halifax, Royal and Sun Alliance - to address an inefficient and fragmented market, the company listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2006 and is a constituent of the FTSE 100, with a market value of around £5 billion.

The Rightmove.co.uk platform hosts more than one million properties at any time, and home movers spend upwards of one billion minutes each month searching across it. The site launched with free listings and introduced a charging model in 2002. Alongside its consumer search tools, Rightmove provides data services to property professionals across both the residential and commercial markets, spanning an online property marketplace platform, property data and consumer-facing search.
