Omnea, founded in 2022, is an AI-native procurement platform covering the source-to-pay lifecycle: spend control and third-party risk management for enterprise purchasing. The company was started by Ben Freeman and Ben Allen, former Tessian executives who built the business out of direct experience of broken enterprise procurement workflows. It has raised $75M in funding and operates on a global basis.

The Omnea Platform is engineered from the ground up with AI and automation embedded at every step. Its technical work spans conversational AI and intelligent intake - employees submit requests through a conversational interface - alongside configurable workflow automation that routes approvals automatically, a self-service supplier portal, embedded governance and risk management, and organisation-wide spend visibility. The engineering culture emphasises an AI-native build rather than bolting AI onto existing software.

Reported outcomes include average customer savings of $747K and 93.7% of spend brought under control. Named enterprise customers include Spotify, MongoDB, Albertsons, TeamViewer and Hargreaves Lansdown. The company's stated mission is to free skilled people from spreadsheets and manual work, with particular emphasis on usability - including building a supplier portal that users actually want to use.
